Feb 04, 2006 Photo shoot Nijmegen 2006 added

The meeting in Nijmegen indeed was a big success. Although the meetings in Oss will not be forgotten, we think the Nijmegen fair indeed was a worthy replacement. For next year: same place, same fair, same success? :-)

Here is the obligatory photo shoot.

Nov 26, 2005 Look mom, no more tables!

We're currently in the process of migrating the whole website from HTML, some nasty Javascripting and a tabled layout to nice and clean XHTML and CSS. At the same time we're also upgrading the graphics a bit. Hope you like it!

Jun 04, 2005 Hi there!

Welcome to Aurora's new spot on the world wide whazoo! We finally found the time and means to set up a half-decent web site and plan to keep this one a bit more up-to-date than our old "WWW", hidden somewhere in Manuel Bilderbeek's MSX page.

The past, the present and the future

AurorA came to life when Martin and Eric decided to enrich the MSX software world with a game. The new born MSX group had to have a name and out of the dark the name Aurora emerged. The name ofcourse refers to the aurora borealis, and was conceived in the spirit of illustreous (dutch) MSX names like Sunrise and Moonsoft. We don't think anyone but us ever made that link, though :-J ...

We released two games in 1997, Ruby & Jade and EXOR, planned a whole lot of other games to create and then life kicked in. We found other ways to spend our time: work, relations, more work, etc. From time to time we would start a new project, kick it about for some time, only to forget about it later on. So it goes.

Now, with the new website on the way, we hope to find some more time to spend on our beloved MSX. Manuel and Eric are currently involved in the development of openMSX and C-BIOS, Martin has been promoted to web master and comes up with a new game idea almost every week :-) And we're slowly but steadily working on the next AurorA game and have some more goodies coming up.

Keep watch of this site and may the MSX force be with you!
